Bellaire, West University Place and Southside Place are small cities with a big share of doctors, researchers, professors and graduate students, thanks to their location next to Rice University and the Texas Medical Center. Houston Fingerprint serves all three from our office at 6124 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77084, about 16 miles west, and through mobile visits that save the cross-town drive.

Medical and Academic Licensing

Medical Center professionals change licenses, states and countries more often than most. We see a steady stream of:

If your board, credentialing office or consulate gave you instructions, bring them. We’ll make sure the card is completed the way that agency expects.

Getting Here (or Having Us Come to You)

From Bellaire, the quickest route is usually the Westpark Tollway west to Highway 6, then north across I-10 to West Little York Road. From West University and Southside Place, take I-610 north to I-10 west, then Highway 6 north. Plan on 30 to 40 minutes. Because the trip crosses town, many residents choose a mobile fingerprinting or mobile notary visit instead.

Wills, Powers of Attorney and Home Signings

Families in these older, established neighborhoods often have estate documents to sign, sometimes with a parent recovering at home or staying in a nearby hospital. Our mobile notary will meet you at home, at a Medical Center hospital room (subject to the facility’s visitor rules) or at your attorney’s office. We notarize documents already prepared by you or your attorney, including a will’s self-proving affidavit, powers of attorney and medical directives. We don’t draft wills or give legal advice. Arrange two adult witnesses if your will needs them. You can also reserve an estate planning and wills appointment at our office.

What to Bring

A valid photo ID, the blank fingerprint card or instructions from your agency, and, for apostilles, the original or certified document. Medical license applicants should bring the board’s fingerprint instructions, since requirements vary from state to state.
