Katy families and professionals don’t have to go downtown for fingerprints or a notary. Houston Fingerprint is about 12 miles east of Katy at 6124 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77084, right off the same corridors Katy commuters already drive every day. We take walk-ins, offer same-day appointments when we can and send a mobile team to Katy homes and offices.

Who We Help in Katy

Katy has grown from a rice-farming town into one of the busiest suburbs in Texas, and the reasons people need fingerprints have grown with it. These are the Katy requests we handle most often:

The Easiest Drive from Katy

From most of Katy, I-10 is the fastest route: head east on the Katy Freeway, exit at Highway 6 and go north past Clay Road to West Little York. If you live north of I-10, Clay Road or FM 529 east to Highway 6 avoids freeway traffic altogether. From Cinco Ranch and the Westpark Tollway area, take Westpark east to Highway 6 and head north across I-10.

Plan on about 20 to 30 minutes, longer during the I-10 rush hour.

Services for Katy Residents

Wills, Powers of Attorney and Mobile Notary in Katy

Estate paperwork is often signed under time pressure: a parent in the hospital, a move into assisted living, or a family trip coming up. Our mobile notary can meet signers at a Katy home, hospital or senior-living community so nobody has to make the drive. We notarize documents prepared by you or your attorney, including the self-proving affidavit used with many Texas wills, and we can help you confirm witness needs before the visit. We don’t draft wills or give legal advice.

Mobile Fingerprinting for Katy Businesses

Katy’s office parks and energy employers often onboard several people at once. Rather than sending each new hire to us, book a mobile fingerprinting visit and we’ll print the group on-site. Tell us the headcount and which agency the cards are for, and we’ll quote the travel fee up front. See our pricing page for current rates.

Before You Come

Bring a current government-issued photo ID and anything the requesting agency gave you: a blank card, an ORI number or written instructions. For notary work, don’t sign the document ahead of time. You’ll sign in front of the notary.

Katy Questions We Hear Often

Is there a fingerprinting office closer to Katy than yours?

We’re one of the closer full-service options for east and central Katy, about 12 miles from downtown Katy, with fingerprinting, notary, apostille and translation in one stop.

Can you come to my house in Cinco Ranch or Fulshear?

Yes. Both are inside our mobile service area. Call 832-530-3652 with the address and what you need, and we’ll confirm a time and the travel fee.

My employer needs FBI fingerprints and an apostille for an overseas assignment. Can you handle both?

We can take the fingerprints and help with the apostille step once you have the FBI report. Ask about timing when you book so we can plan around your departure date.

Do you notarize wills for Katy residents?

We notarize wills and the related self-proving affidavit when the document is already prepared. Bring valid ID for every signer, and let us know in advance whether you’re bringing your own witnesses.
