Pasadena and South Houston combine a large college community, busy healthcare employers and the petrochemical plants along Highway 225. Houston Fingerprint serves both cities from our office at 6124 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77084, about 28 miles northwest, and with mobile visits to homes, schools and workplaces.
Nursing and Health Science Students
San Jacinto College trains a large share of the area’s nurses, EMTs and allied-health workers, and their programs and licensing boards often ask for fingerprints. If you’re a student or recent graduate:
- Ask your program or board which fingerprint method it requires. Some accept or require FD-258 ink fingerprint cards, especially out-of-state boards.
- Bring the instructions, any blank cards and your ID to your appointment, and we’ll complete the cards to that agency’s standards.
- If you’re applying for a license in Florida, our Florida Live Scan submission service handles that without travel.
Graduating classes and clinical cohorts can save time with a group mobile fingerprinting session on campus or at a clinical site. Ask us about scheduling one.
Plant and Industrial Careers
Workers and contractors at the Highway 225 plants sometimes need FBI background checks for overseas postings, followed by an apostille so the report is accepted abroad. We can print you and explain the apostille step so your paperwork arrives in the right order.
Family Paperwork: Wills, Travel and Translations
Pasadena and South Houston families also bring us everyday paperwork:
- Wills and estate documents. We notarize wills’ self-proving affidavits, powers of attorney and medical directives once you or your attorney have prepared them. We don’t draft wills or give legal advice, and a typed Texas will generally needs two adult witnesses. Reserve an estate planning and wills appointment.
- Home and hospital visits. Our mobile notary will come to a signer who can’t travel, whether at home, in the hospital or in a care facility.
- Travel consent letters for children traveling with one parent or another relative.
- Bilingual documents through certified translation.
Driving from Pasadena or South Houston
The most direct route is SH-225 west to the 610 East Loop, north on 610 to I-10 west, then I-10 to Highway 6 and north to West Little York Road. From South Houston, I-45 north to downtown and then I-10 west works too. Expect 45 to 55 minutes. An online booking means no waiting once you arrive.

Pasadena and South Houston FAQs
I’m a nursing student. Which fingerprints do I need?
It depends on your program and the licensing board. Bring their instructions, or call 832-530-3652 before you come, and we’ll confirm whether we can complete what’s required.
Can you come to our campus or clinic to fingerprint a whole class?
Yes. Group mobile sessions work well for cohorts and new-hire classes. Give us the number of people and the agency requirements.
Can a notary come to my home in South Houston?
