Humble and Atascocita, along with the rest of the Lake Houston area, are packed with young families, school employees and youth-sports volunteers, and many of them need fingerprints at some point. Houston Fingerprint serves the area from our office at 6124 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77084, about 25 to 30 miles west, and with mobile visits that bring the service to your door.
Schools, Coaching and Volunteering
Humble ISD is one of the fastest-growing districts in the region, and local churches, youth leagues and nonprofits depend on screened volunteers. We help:
- Teachers, aides and substitutes completing hiring or certification steps. Our Texas teaching license fingerprinting guide explains the basics.
- Coaches and youth ministry volunteers whose organizations ask for fingerprint-based checks
- Childcare and healthcare workers licensed in other states who need FD-258 ink fingerprint cards
Organizing a volunteer drive? If your school, league or church needs a group fingerprinted, a mobile fingerprinting session at your location saves everyone the drive across Houston. Send us the headcount and the agency requirements, and we’ll quote it.
Airport, Energy and Overseas Work
Many Humble and Atascocita residents work near Bush Intercontinental or in energy, and some take assignments abroad. For those moves we provide FBI background check support, apostilles on FBI reports and civil documents, and certified translations. Airport ID badges and some transportation credentials are processed through their own enrollment centers. Call us first if you aren’t sure we’re the right stop.
Estate Documents and Mobile Notary
Families around Lake Houston use our mobile notary for wills, powers of attorney and medical directives, especially when a parent is at home, in rehab or in assisted living. We notarize documents you or your attorney have prepared, including the self-proving affidavit used with many Texas wills. We don’t draft wills or give legal advice. Every signer needs valid ID, and a typed Texas will generally needs two adult witnesses. Office signings can be reserved through our estate planning and wills booking.
Driving In from Humble or Atascocita
Our office is on the opposite side of Houston, so plan ahead:
- Take Beltway 8 (Sam Houston Tollway) west around the north side to US-290, follow 290 northwest and exit at Highway 6 south.
- Or take FM 1960 west all the way to US-290, then Highway 6 south. It’s slower, but has no tolls.
Expect 45 to 55 minutes. Book a time online so there’s no wait when you arrive, or choose a mobile visit.
