Houston Fingerprint serves Cypress residents from our office at 6124 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77084, in the Addicks–Bear Creek area just south of the Cy-Fair communities. That puts most Cypress neighborhoods a short drive down Highway 6 or Barker Cypress Road. Walk-ins are welcome, same-day appointments are often available, and you can book a fingerprint appointment online before you leave home.
Getting to Our Office from Cypress
Cypress stretches from the US-290 corridor out past the Grand Parkway, so the best route depends on where you start:
- From the 290 corridor (Fairfield, Towne Lake, Cypress Creek Lakes): take US-290 toward Houston, exit at Highway 6 and head south. Our office is on Highway 6 N near West Little York Road.
- From central Cy-Fair (near Lone Star College–CyFair and the Berry Center): head south on Barker Cypress Road or Fry Road toward West Little York, then go east to Highway 6.
- From Bridgeland and the Grand Parkway side: use SH-99 or Fry Road south, then connect to Highway 6.
Most visitors from Cypress arrive in roughly 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. If 290 is backed up, the surface roads (Barker Cypress, Fry and West Little York) are usually the quicker way in.
Why Cypress Residents Come to Us
Cypress is a fast-growing suburb with one of the largest school districts in Texas, a major community college and a lot of commuters working in energy, finance and healthcare. That mix shapes the requests we see from the area most often:
- School jobs and certification. Teachers, substitutes, coaches and volunteers applying in Cy-Fair ISD and nearby districts often need fingerprints as part of hiring or certification. Our Texas teaching license fingerprinting guide explains the process. Bring your instructions so we can confirm the right method before we start.
- Nursing and healthcare programs. Students heading into clinical placements, and nurses applying for licenses in other states, frequently need FD-258 cards or an FBI background check.
- Finance and securities jobs. Commuters starting roles with broker-dealers and advisory firms need FINRA fingerprints, often on a tight onboarding deadline.
- Moving, marrying or working abroad. Families relocating overseas or adopting internationally usually need documents notarized, translated and apostilled.

Mobile Fingerprinting in Cypress
For Cypress businesses onboarding several new hires, schools and churches screening volunteers, or customers who can’t easily travel, we can come to you. Group visits save everyone the drive down Highway 6. Tell us how many people need prints and which agency the cards are for, and we’ll confirm availability and the travel fee before scheduling.
Mobile Notary and Wills for Cypress Families
Many Cypress families call us when a parent is finalizing a will or power of attorney but can’t easily leave home, the hospital or an assisted-living community. Our mobile notary service brings the notary to the signer, so the whole family can be there.
We notarize estate documents prepared by you or your attorney, including the self-proving affidavit that accompanies many Texas wills. We don’t draft wills or give legal advice. A typed Texas will generally needs two witnesses, so tell us when you book whether you’re bringing your own. You can schedule an estate planning and wills appointment on our online booking page.
What to Bring
- A valid, government-issued photo ID
- Any fingerprint card, ORI number, reference number or written instructions from the agency requesting your prints
- For notary or apostille requests: the unsigned documents (sign in front of the notary)
